Who we are

QNgin AS ("QNgin", "we") is a Norwegian company registered at Skovveien 1, 0257 Oslo, Norway. We are the data controller for personal data collected through qngin.com. You can reach us at post@qngin.com or +47 92 77 93 19.

What we collect, and why

We collect personal data in one place on this website: the contact form. If you submit it, we receive the details you enter — your name, work email, company, and message. We use them for one purpose: to respond to your enquiry, such as answering a question or arranging a demo.

The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you send us (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)), and, where your enquiry leads to a contract, the steps needed before entering into it (Art. 6(1)(b)).

Our hosting provider automatically keeps standard technical server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations, as any web host does.

What we don't do

• We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
• We do not sell or share your data for marketing.
• We do not load fonts or other resources from third-party services — everything is served from qngin.com.
• We only store one thing in your browser: your light/dark theme preference, kept locally on your device and never sent to us.

Where your data goes

Contact form submissions are delivered to our company mailbox by our website hosting and email provider, One.com Group AB (EU-based), acting as our data processor. Your data is not transferred outside the EU/EEA.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry emails for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, and delete them when they are no longer relevant. If you become a customer, contact details are kept for the duration of the customer relationship.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to our processing of it, or to receive it in a portable format. Email post@qngin.com and we will respond promptly.

If you believe we have handled your data improperly, you have the right to complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet).

Changes to this policy

If we change how this website handles personal data — for example by adding analytics — we will update this page and its date first.
